We are currently seeking applications for a number of Casual morning positions for Chefs and Cooks supporting our operations at a funky CBD Hotel site. In addition to having previous experience, the ideal person will be motivated, a quick learner and passionate about delivering exceptional service.

The Positions:

Chef – casual base rate $26 per hour + 25% casual loading

• Implementation of menu
• Cooking and presentation of breakfast and snacks
• Portion controlling
• Stock ordering and stock count
• Ensuring HACCP procedures and reporting are followed
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team

Cook

• Stock rotation and stock control
• General food preparation and cooking of breakfast
• Thorough cleaning of kitchen including dishes and floors
• Assist with general kitchen duties 
• Undertake dishwashing, pot-scrubbing and general cleaning of the kitchen
• Temperature Checks as required

The General Profile:

• Previous relevant experience in a catering role is desirable
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Keen eye for detail with a flexible approach and attitude
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
• Outstanding grooming standards and personal presentation
