The Position 

In this business partnering role as Work Readiness Advisor, you will work collaboratively with the National Injury Management team in supporting stakeholders across multiple business streams to deliver a world class loss minimisation function. This role is responsible for providing pre-employment screenings services & solutions, including sourcing & managing the services of external providers. This is an ideal opportunity for you to expand your skills within a dynamic environment where you will be supported and mentored throughout. This position is a full time permanent role, based in Brisbane or Perth.

Key Duties

• Conduct functional capacity screens
• Drive positive safe deployment outcomes
• Case manage fitness for work cases
• Build strategic relationships and manage service providers
• Coach and mentor internal stakeholders
• Facilitate system and legislative compliance
• Assist in the development and implementation of nationwide initiatives to reduce impact of injuries

The Person 

• Allied Health Qualification and associated registration (preferable OT, Physio)
• 2 years minimum experience in a clinical role, preferentially in workplace rehabilitation/ pre-employment medicals
• Sound knowledge of workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation
• The ability to work independently and as part of a strong team
• Be self-motivated and proactive with a desire to make a difference 
• Ability to work to efficiently to deadlines in a fast paced environment
