The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Part Time Catering Assistant to join our team at McCain’s Food in Wendouree, Ballarat. This is a Monday to Friday role that will see you rostered between 6.00 AM and 9.30 PM, so your own transport is required. 

The successful applicant will get to demonstrate the following: 

• Food preparation such as making salads and sandwiches
• Basic Cooking Skills
• Cash handling experience
• Great customer service
• Cleaning duties in kitchen and service areas
• Be able to work unsupervised
• Showcase excellent time management skills

The Person

• Previous Catering Assistant experience
• Basic knife skills
• Knowledge of micros POS system would be beneficial
• Be reliable, well-organised and full of passion for what you do
• Outgoing personality with great communication skills
• Great work ethic with flexibility and willingness to multi task
