HVAC Mechanical Technician – Weekends Only

We are currently seeking an Expressions of Interest for upcoming opportunities for qualified HVAC Refrigeration Technicians to join our Delta FM QLD Team. Reporting to the Mechanical Team Leader, you will work with our committed Delta FM Maintenance Team on various Health Care Precinct Projects throughout South-East QLD, maintaining a variety of mechanical, electrical and various other systems.

These positions are Weekend Opportunities: Friday to Sunday – 12 Hour Shifts – Perfect Work Life Balance!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC Mechanical Teams, ensuring continuity of essential Building and Engineering services
• Fault finding, reactive maintenance and assisting other trades
• Ensure all the activities are performed in accordance with moral, ethical, legal standards and maintain best FM practice
• Actively manage and meet response times, rectification times and deadlines
• Prioritise and attend to urgent requests
• Provide mobile device work orders, updates and time estimates, including risk assessments
• Contribute to condition assessments
• Conduct maintenance tasks including inspection, classification, repairs and planned works

The Person

• Proven ability to work unsupervised
• QLD HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic Trade Qualification essential 
• Must be available for 3 day work week; Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role(s)
• Be able to provide an up to date police check (no older than 3 months) on your commencement date
• A solid understanding of HVAC systems and BMS systems
• Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations
• Proven track record in maintenance, with experience in aged and or health care settings, advantageous
• Boiler Attendant course completion is also highly regarded
• Current driver’s license required
