Manager – Local Content | Perth

Compass Group are looking for a Manager – Local Content to join our Diversity & inclusion team

Role Purpose and Contribution

The primary purpose of this position is to work with our internal Commercial Team, Foodbuys, Diversity & Inclusion Unit, external stakeholders, and Clients, Senior Management and Operations teams in NSW, VIC, NT, QLD, SA and WA to develop and rollout innovative and impactful Local Content Plans and Strategies; along with Australian Industry Participation Plans (AIP) and initiatives that align with our Client Contracts and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Experience, qualifications and competency requirements

• Understanding and experience in developing and implementing AIP and Local Content Plans and Strategies.
• Ability to manage and oversee projects & programs.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure.
• Good time management skills.
• A flexible approach and attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and ambiguity.
• A highly effective communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts, and proposals to engage team, peers, and leaders.
• Demonstrate ability to influence without direct authority and ability to clearly formulate areas of strength, development and associated recommendations.
• Understanding of Indigenous cultures.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Experience effectively partnering with operations and business teams to build effective programs and strategies.
• Influences others to achieve solutions to meet organization’s objectives, and is proactive in providing solutions, resolving issues and overcoming hurdles to results. Effectively collaborates with partners to resolve.
