How do you want to spend your work day? Stuck doing boring rounds of deliveries and inventory, or working at the Melbourne Zoo in a beautiful outdoor environment with a great team and plenty of exotic animals and flora and fauna to spend your lunch break getting to know?

We at Compass Group and Melbourne Zoo are currently seeking a Store Person to Supervise and oversee our back of house team. This role is based in Parkville, the inner north of Melbourne.

Your role would include:

• Facilitate delivery of stock to retail outlets with varied delivery routes and requirements
• Direct other staff members when needed
• Basic equipment set up for events and functions.
• Plan and maintain warehouse/storeroom layout and inventory locations
• Receive, process and dispatch goods via an online tracking system
• Order picking
• Maintain accurate store-room records – including stocktakes
• Any other ad hoc duties as required by our fantastic Chefs and Management

This role would require you to hold a Manual Driver’s Licence, Forklift Licence and the ability to report back to management around stock variances.
